What does the word “school” bring to mind? Lessons, routine, daily grind. Vamvakou School is nothing like that! It’s a school unlike any other, a playful space for all ages, surrounded by nature, where every classroom reveals a new world to explore.
Here, there are no right or wrong answers — only play, imagination and freedom. Everyone, regardless of age, has a place and a role in this school. Various play corners set up throughout the school invite visitors to create, get dirty and enjoy themselves.
The central focus is on messy, sensory and natural play through free play without limits. In the courtyard, you will find balls, a trampoline, hula hoops, ping pong tables and a basketball court, while indoors, Lego blocks, board games, chess, a library, construction toys, VR and gaming, puppet theater, role-playing games, and much more.
