European Cultural Heritage Days-"The art of weaving in Laconia

On Saturday, September 23rd (at 17:00), a cultural awareness event will be held at the archaeological site of Geraki Castle for the public and the teachers of the Laconia prefecture to learn about Geraki and its weaving art.
Through informative tours and presentations of the educational work of the Directorate of Modern Cultural Heritage and UNESCO for the inclusion of intangible cultural heritage in education, as well as through music and dance events, visitors will get to know the weaving art on the standing loom and also other elements that Geraki’s rich intangible cultural heritage consists of.
