Sparta Stage (Skini Spartis)-NextGen Vamvakou Camp 2025

After five successful summer camp events with hundreds of children creating and exploring in nature, Vamvakou Revival opens its arms and the village to 40 young people aged 12-18 this year, inviting them for the first time to a special, five-day daily teenage camp full of art, expression, nature and authentic experiences, which will take place from August 25 to 29, in Vamvakou, Laconia, as part of the Vamvakou Revival initiative, which is being implemented with an exclusive donation from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

What does the programme include?
This multidimensional programme focuses on artistic workshops, wellness and mountain activities, as well as a celebration that will seal the programme's success.

Artistic workshops: drawing and visual arts with Kostas Darios, comics creation with Zeta Pantazi, educational theatre with Flora Kalomiri, literature and storytelling with Evangelos Theodorou, dance with Afroditi Vervenioti.
Wellness activities and sports in nature: hiking on the trails of Parnon, callisthenics, Animal Flow, survivor games, archery, and group games with the group "The Phase is Mountains." Also, yoga and meditation in the shade of the forest with Marianna Vlachou and Konstantina Sakellari and forest bathing.
Special moments of inspiration & participation / Closing ceremony: Screening of the documentary Arctic Odyssey, as well as a meeting and open discussion with its creator, Evangelos Rassias, Winner of the 1st Audience Award, 27th Thessaloniki Film and Documentary Festival 2025. A concert with the participation of teenagers and music by ON/OFF will follow.

From 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. *The programme differs on Friday, 29/08.
There will be departures and returns daily from Sparta. The children's transportation to and from Vamvakou will be provided by special bus routes to and from Sparta.

Who can participate?
The programme is aimed at teenagers aged 12 to 18. No previous experience is required to "scroll" together between workshops in nature—only a willingness to participate, create and discover!

Participation: 100 euros (one meal/day included)
