A weekend in the mountains! What options do I have? What can I do in a small village and its school? Every weekend, the school of Vamvakou transforms into our very own playhouse – a unique, social space, a warm embrace for everyone! A place where experimentation, freedom, connection with nature, inclusion, creativity and safety are encouraged. A school where everyone belongs, and where play, creativity and technology/innovation take center stage! Whether you’re an adult or a child –whoever you are– you’ll definitely find something that interests you and enjoy your time in the mountains. Step in, follow the flow, and you won’t miss out!
Room 1: Digital Vamvakou World | V.Lab
Ages: 6+ years, teenagers & adults
The world of STEAM is revealed to young and old alike. Robotics and 3D-printing corners, Virtual Reality and video games are just some of the things you’ll discover in our small digital world.
Room 2: The Hangout Room
Ages: 8+ years, teenagers & adults
A ping-pong table for endless matches. A space of conversation, relaxation, board games, fun and socializing.
Room 3: Children’s Joy
Ages: 2-8 years
A mini grocery store, a craftsman’s corner, a fridge, a loom and weaving, traditional professions, play kitchens, a slide and playhouses, role-play and imitation games – all helping children explore their imagination, collaborate, express themselves, and build self-confidence.
Reception area: Library, creative corners (LEGO, crafts, drawing, chess).
Schoolyard: Stunning views, hammocks, football, basketball, trampolines, balls and relax time on the grass.

Food/drinks
In the canteen found on the school premises you can purchase hot and cold snacks, coffee, juices and soft drinks.
*On special occasions, the menu is enriched with delicious souvlaki skewers.

Hiking, cycling, exploring the stories of the Digital Cultural Route, as well as playtime at the playground and the village square.
