Did you know that March 21st is World Puppetry Day? That’s why this March we have invited Roselina to Vamvakou! An unconventional princess. A different kind of princess. She didn’t enjoy sitting on a throne and fanning herself at all. She loved wandering. And so, she set off to travel the world in search of her beloved frog…
A performance–psychodrama about self-awareness, self-esteem, and the inner strength we need to overcome the obstacles imposed by our minds, so that we can become who we truly wish to be. The show features twelve puppets: nine rod puppets, two glove puppets, and one directly operated marionette – Princess Roselina herself.
A free adaptation of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale “The Frog Prince” – lyrics, puppets, stage sets and music selection by Sofia Louka, puppeteer, puppet performer and kindergarten teacher.
