On Saturday, October 21st (12:00-14:00), an educational workshop for children 4-12 years old entitled, “Once upon a time, our life in the village… and the blue and white national flag” will be held at Vamvakou Primary School. Through a magical journey with the colours of Alekos Fasianos, children will make their own blue and white national flag, learn its symbolism and bring to life the Epic of 1940 through a heroic game.
Folklore, revival of customs and local traditions, folk tales and legends storytelling, traditional games, dance and constructions will be some of the programmes guidelines.
