No matter if they have hatched out of their eggs or not, skilful experimenters explore and approach basic principles of science keenly and enthusiastically. They learn about scientific concepts and look for explanations about natural phenomena. They even learn how to “sit on their eggs”, as the Greek saying goes! Eggs —ever eager— float, soften, swell and shrink, get squeezed, examined from various angles, and, if necessary, may get eaten, either hard- or soft-boiled!
