Vamvakou Revival-Vamvakou Santa School 2025

Once upon a time, in a small village on Mount Parnon called Vamvakou, a few dreamers wondered what the most magical Christmas would look like. So, they asked Santa Claus and his mischievous elves to transform the village into a glowing destination of celebration, enchantment, creativity, and childlike innocence. The village school put on its festive outfit once again and became the Vamvakou Santa School — a place for everyone who still feels like a child!

At the Vamvakou Santa School this year, you’ll find a carousel spinning endlessly and a bungee trampoline that launches us toward the sky. In the decorated basketball area, roller skates will glide through joy, while inside the school, stories full of warmth will come to life in a Christmas Fairy Tale Nook. Creative corners, crafts, Lego, board games, virtual reality, and a rich festive program of activities will accompany us until the first days of the new year! See the full schedule of events and parallel activities here:

During your visit, don’t miss the Vamvakou Santa Home, a wooden cabin full of surprises — from letters to Santa Claus to hot drinks, gifts, and treats offered by GS Vamvakou “Vamvakia.” Outside, you’ll find tables and seats with heaters and blankets so that you can enjoy the magic of Christmas at 950 meters above sea level.

The Vamvakou Santa School and all festive events are part of the Vamvakou Revival initiative, implemented by Vamvakou Revival with the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

Carousel

The beloved carousel for children and adults is set up at the school to spin us around with endless rides and countless smiles.

Bungee Trampoline

A Bungee Trampoline with four stations and a height of seven meters lands in the schoolyard, waiting for you to take off on wild flights. Fasten your harness and let’s soar to the skies.

Roller Skating

Let’s meet for some roller skating fun. Put on your skates and roll together in the decorated basketball court – “where Christmas rolls on wheels.”

Christmas Fairy Tale Nook (11:00 – 12:00)

Christmas finds its home in a warm nook filled with fairy tales. Sit back and let the heroes of the holidays whisper their stories to you, brought to life by the Amateur Theatre Group of Laconia, actress Chrysanthi Kotsafti, and storyteller Potoula Paschalidi.

Creative Corners

We make Christmas cards and ornaments full of imagination, play board games, ping pong, foosball, and Lego, and travel through magical Christmas worlds with Oculus Quest 2 virtual reality headsets.
