The small village of Grammousa is built at an altitude of 180 metres at the foothills of Taygetos. It is 8 km from Skala, 25 km from Gythio and 38 km from Sparta. In the village, visitors can see the church of the Annunciation of the Virgin, while nearby there is the chapel of Prophet Elias.
