Koniditsa is a small, picturesque village built at an altitude of 480 metres. It is located 25 km south of Sparta. At the village's main square, with the age-old plane tree, visitors can see the church of Prophet Elias. It is an important monument of the Byzantine period and dates back to the 11th century. At the same square, you can see the bust of priest and National Martyr Ioannis Katsaris, slaughtered inside the church by Ibrahim's army on May 12th, 1826.
On the south side of the village, there are remains of Agioi Theodoroi church which date back to the Early Christian era. Finally, at the area of the old Primary School, there is a small Folklore Museum.
