Cine Vamvakou-Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light
Cinema screening at an altitude of 900m. and Cine Vamvakou! Did you know that in 1930, there was a movie camera in the village school? Ninety-four years after the first screening, we are reviving this pioneering activity in collaboration with the Athens International Film Festival for Children & Adolescents. Every week, we watch unique films with social content that deal with children and young people's problems and concerns.
On Saturday, 17/02, we watch the movie "Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light".
11-year-old Tony was born with a unique characteristic: he shines with a golden light. But he prefers to hide it by wearing gloves and fancy masks while spending most of his time under his blanket. His dream is to find one friend. When mysterious Shelly moves into his building just before Christmas, Tony's world changes. The two decide to discover the source of the dark force that has cast darkness over their home and neighbourhood.
