“Playing with the light in the workshop of Vamvakou”

On Saturday, September 9th (at noon), an educational workshop for children aged 6-12 will be held by physicist Dora Kourkoulis at the Vamvakou Primary School.
Everyday objects, such as objects with holes or an old CD behave in surprising ways leading to unexpected luminous results. During the workshop, children will have the opportunity to explore natural light, shadow, movement, reflection and refraction, using materials and light sources found at home, creating a strange imaginary world.
