The educational program titled “Robotics for children 5-10 years old” aims to familiarize participants with the exciting world of robotics, introducing them to the basic concepts of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics). Through recreational activities, children discover mathematics, physics, engineering, art and programming.
During the workshop, children tackle different problems, starting with easy challenges, and gradually progressing to more advanced algorithmic approaches. Moreover, they become familiar with the Engineering Design Process moving through the stages of design, implementation and evaluation. The approach is playful and entertaining enabling children to develop their skills with interest and enthusiasm.
