On Saturday, December 2nd (15:00-20:30), Vamvakou Revival invites all to the traditional Christmas meeting in Vamvakou on Mount Parnon, held by the exclusive donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
Santa Claus’ postman, elves, magicians and jugglers, a three-story stilt, the well-known sketch artist Giorgos Yfantis, a preschool teacher, an artist, the Intercultural Choir of the National Opera and Phoebus Delivorias will perform in a special winter, Christmas and magical evening in the village of Vamvakou.
SCHEDULE:
15:00-16:00 The postman of dreams. An interactive performance for children 4-10 years old by actress Flora Kalomiri.
16:00-17:30 Christmas creations with recyclable materials. Art workshops for children 6-12 years old by Adamantia Mastrokyriakaki (preschool teacher) and Potoula Lafogianni (artist).
16:00-17:30 A three-story stilt face painting & shows in Vamvakou.
16:00-20:00 Become a realistic caricature by Giorgos Yfantis. Street painting.
17:30-18:00 Intercultural Choir of the National Opera
Choir conductor: Anna Linardos, assistant conductor-piano accompaniment: Dimitra Kokkinopoulos, orchestration: Vasso Dimitiou.
18:00-18:10 Christmas lights up in Vamvakou. The revealing of Christmas decorations.
18:30-20:30 Phoebus Delivorias live in Vamvakou.
The musicians Kostas Christodoulou, Sotiris Douvas, Kostas Pantelis, Yoel Soto, and Christos Lainas will be with him.
