Photo contest - The skyline of Moria through the buildings of people

Spread the word

The Logganikos Cultural Association invites photographers of all levels (professional or not) to participate in the open Photo Contest "The Skyline of Moria through the Buildings of the People—Byzantine and Newer Monuments in the Peloponnese."
Photograph Byzantine and newer monuments of our architectural heritage from the Peloponnese. These iconic sights include castles and churches, mills and bridges, modern buildings and unique buildings that catch the eye of the everyday passer-by and the photographer.
These buildings, functional or in ruins, dominate space and nature, fascinate visitors and take them on a fantastic journey through past stories and legends.
The competition's purpose is to highlight our country's historical heritage and architectural wealth and to re-present important landmarks through each participant's particular photographic perspective.
Choose 1-3 photos, in the best possible resolution (4MB or more) in colour or black and white and send them to e-mail: [email protected]
The winners will participate by name in a group Photo Exhibition that will be presented at the Primary School of Logganikos from 9th to 19th August 2024.
Participation in the competition and exhibition is free.
Three projects plus three prizes will be awarded.
Submission deadline: 7/22/2024
Jury Committee: Alexandros Voutsas - Teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASKT) in the photography workshop, Dimitris Giannarakos - professional photographer, Alexandra Michou - graphic designer, Antonis Kritikos - musician, Margarita Perivolioti - retired professor of TEI of Athens PADA
