13 km from Monemvasia, visitors can enjoy a swim at the secluded, sandy beach of Agios (Saint) Fokas, in the waters of the Myrtoan Sea.
There is the small homonymous chapel on the islet, just a few metres from the shore. A bridge connects it to the land.
For hiking enthusiasts, a well-signposted trail begins at the beach, which, after a four-hour coastal route, ends at the Castania Cave.
