The small village of Leimonas is located in the Evrotas river fertile valley, at a distance of 48 km from Sparta. Visitors can swim at Puga Beach, just 3 km away from the village. It is a beach with endless sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. There is a canteen at the site where the guests can rent an umbrella and sun loungers or enjoy their coffee and food.
In the village, with the small traditional square, there are two churches, Agios Panteleimon and Agios Dimitrios.
