Elika Cultural Association
The Elika Cultural Association is based in the village of the same name, which is the first you encounter visiting Vatika.
The Cultural Association was founded in October 1991 with the aim of saving and promoting the culture of the region through a series of actions and activities. Specifically, the Association organises voluntary blood donations, painting, ceramics, chess courses, etc.
In 2019, the presentation/operation of a wheat cleaning machine of 1884 took place with great success in the "Michail Tsigounis" square in the village. The engine of great historical value belongs to the Michalis Tsigounis family. Also, in July 2022, the Association established the village's lending library, where more than 700 books have been archived and categorised, following residents’ donations.
