Spread the word

The Leimonas & Agioi Taxiarches Cultural Association of the Prefecture of Laconia, with the cooperation of farmers and breeders from all over Greece and the scientific contribution of folklorists and agrologists, is organising the Farmers and Cattle Breeders Pan-Hellenic Cultural Festival 2024.
The Pan-Hellenic Cultural Celebration of Farmers and Cattle Breeders is the only pan-Hellenic, thematic celebration of cultural content dedicated to the diverse contribution of the agricultural world of the Greek countryside to our national culture. At the same time, it focuses on finding realistic and effective ways of developing the agricultural world.
It is about a ground-breaking - by Greek standards - thematic cultural celebration of the highest importance. It will occur from August 10th to 11th in the Prefecture of Laconia, specifically in Leimonas, Municipality of Evrotas. The Pan-Hellenic Cultural Festival includes original and essential activities that aim to highlight rural culture and, ultimately, present tangible proposals and derive sustainable solutions for developing the countryside and the agricultural and livestock sector.
Specifically, the event program includes the following activities, all of which are free of charge:
• Pan-Hellenic Conference with the theme: "The Tomorrow of Agriculture & Livestock in Greece" and the subject of Sustainable Development in the Rural Countryside, with speakers from all over Greece.
• Outdoor interactive display of food produced by the primary sector
• Outdoor exhibition of contemporary folk art
• Presentation of traditional folk songs and dance forms
The organisation is supported non-profit by leading and qualified people with years of experience, specialised and distinguished in the study of the Greek rural area:
