Saint Polycarpos' Church

The church is located northeast of the village, near the settlement of Founteika and celebrates on February 23rd.
It was erected in 1964 on the ruins of an older church, where tombs with bones were found. It is even said that in a grave, the bones were gigantic.
The church is located at "Fonikorema". According to tradition, a battle was fought between Ibrahim's army and the Greeks at the site in 1826.
