The Society for Spartan Studies invites you to the MILA EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOP on Gender and Domestic Violence, which will take place at the Tourist Pavilion of Monemvasia.
The Society of Spartan Studies invites you to the Experiential Workshop on Gender & Domestic Violence "SPEAK" that will take place at the Tourist Pavilion of Monemvasia on Monday, November 25th, 2024, at 05:30 pm. - 07:30 pm, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The Workshop was designed and will be implemented by the excellent scientist, Ms. Aspasia Georgilis, Social Worker and Expressive Art Therapist based in Monemvasia.
The Workshop aims to sensitise Laconian people to the burning issue of gender and domestic violence and to give the participants the opportunity to become aware of and reflect on gender stereotypes and the limitations that they have experienced or incorporated and transmuted into personal awareness, self-acceptance and creativity.
Participation in the Experiential Workshop is FREE.

The Workshop is held to disseminate the results of the European Erasmus Plus program "Y.E. STOP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & ABUSE" (Monemvasia, November 18-26, 2024), which is under the auspices of the Youth & Lifelong Learning Foundation and with the participation of the Association of Parents, Guardians and Friends of Autistic People of Laconia Prefecture "Fasma Zois."
