Selinitsa Beach
Selinitsa Beach is located in the northern part of the Laconian Gulf, directly opposite Marathonisi and Gythio, from which it is about 5 kilometres away. Access to the beach is via the Skala-Gythio road network and is located in the holiday settlement of the same name, Selinitsa.
It is one of the most beautiful beaches, approximately 1400 metres long, with fine golden sand, small pebbles and clear blue waters. It was recognised as a swimming beach in 1990 and is awarded the Blue Flag yearly.
On the organised beach of Selinitsa with umbrellas, sunbeds, showers and changing rooms, visitors can enjoy a coffee or a drink at one of the beach bars.
In conclusion, it is worth mentioning that Selinitsa Beach is also widely known as a breeding ground for the Caretta-Caretta sea turtle.
