Vathy is located near Gythio and is one of the most beautiful beaches of Laconia, 2500 metres long.
It is ideal for children, with waters with no abrupt depth, fine, white sand, and dense vegetation. Every year, Caretta-Caretta turtles lay their eggs there.
The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag and is suitable for all summer water sports. It lies between two hills dominated by towers, revealing the story of Mani to visitors. Next to Vathy beach, there is a river with a stone bridge and an organised campsite for nature lovers.
