An octagonal domed church built during the first Turkish Occupation and dating back to the 17th century. Its foundation is associated with the icon of the Virgin Mary’s metastasis. An old woman found the miraculous icon in a well on the south side of the church where a chapel was built. A building known as Kellia (cells), which was initially a monastery, stands on the north side.
