It is a one-room vaulted church, which came from a reconstruction of an older Byzantine church. Inside, fragments of post-Byzantine frescoes dating to the 17th century are preserved.
In the Second Venetian Occupation, it was a parish church, which was turned into a workshop during the Second Ottoman Occupation (1715-1821). Finally, after the Revolution, it operated as a chapel.
