The Community Centre of the Municipality of Monemvasia, in collaboration with the Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence of the Laconia Police Directorate and the Tripoli Counselling Centre of KETHI, is organising an informative event on the topic:
“Awareness and Sensitisation Action on Violence Against Women”
The event will take place on Friday, March 27th, at 18:00, at the event hall of the old Primary School of Neapoli.
Gender-based violence is not a private matter. On the contrary, it concerns all of us, as it constitutes a blatant violation of human rights. It often occurs around us, behind closed doors, and can affect any woman, regardless of her economic, educational, or family background.
It is a global phenomenon that continues to worsen, posing a threat to social cohesion and public safety.
Prevention begins with awareness, and change starts with a collective sense of responsibility.
