Kamares Beach

Kamares Beach is approximately 16 km from Gythio and 14 km from Areopolis. It is a big beach, 1500 metres long, with crystal-clear sea. On the shore, there is a wall and a small bridge. Near the beach, visitors can find a small chapel.
Kamares Beach was recognised as a swimming beach in 1992, while guesthouses, hotels, cafes and taverns are nearby. The sandy beach with fine pebbles is ideal for families with children as the seawater gradually and smoothly deepens.
