The establishment of children's and teenage theatre groups by the Municipality of Eastern Mani

The Municipality of Eastern Mani, recognising the beneficial effects of theatre art, proceeds to establish children's and adolescent theatre groups in Gythio and Areopoli.

More specifically, the following three groups will be created in Gythio and Areopolis.

A group of 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade students
A group of 4th, 5th & 6th grade students
A group of high school students
Each group will consist of 10 to 12 children.

Indicative operating schedule of the groups:

- Tuesday and Friday at Gythio (afternoon hours)

- Wednesday and Thursday at Areopolis (afternoon hours)

Ms Ioanna Mitsakou, a graduate of pedagogical theatre with university studies in Greek culture, will be the animator who will manage the Municipality's teams.

The first meetings with the parents to be informed in detail about the actions and the final form of the programme will take place

• on Friday, October 18th, at the Spiritual Centre of Gythio between 16:00 and 19:00 (Gythio)
