The Mermaid of Gythio

The Mermaid is located at the pier of Gythio and is a piece of artwork made by sculptor Rosa Iliou. It was donated to the municipality of Gythio in 2005 by Giorgos and Menelaos Geroulakos in memory of their father, Konstantinos Geroulakos, one of the prominent surgeons in Laconia.
