Kyrimai Hotel
The historic and two times awarded hotel "Kyrimai" is located on the southernmost edge of beautiful Mani, in the port of Gerolimenas, very close to the sea and is run by the Kyrimis family.
The renovated building complex of the 19th century (1870) combines traditional architecture with modern comforts, having been renovated with absolute respect for tradition with the use of authentic materials (wood, stone, etc.). Archives, objects, precious books, and heirlooms of the people who stayed and worked in the complex over the decades give the hotel a unique and extraordinary cultural "identity".
The luxurious stone hotel has 23 elegant rooms and suites, each with a different layout and decoration. Wooden floors and ceilings, earthy, pastel colours on the walls and antique pieces of furniture are some of the elements that make the "Kyrimai" hotel unique. The view of the rooms to the sea "marries" harmoniously with the area's rugged landscape. At the same time, the outdoor swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds offers the visitor moments of relaxation and carelessness.
The hotel's restaurant stands out not only for the breakfast meal with its wide variety of tasty options and fine products but also for its unique menu that combines homely, traditional flavours with a sense of modernity. The dishes of Mediterranean and Greek cuisine satisfy the modern visitor by offering, at the same time, an authentic experience of the culture of Mani with timeless traditional recipes. The local graviera, virgin olive oil, sygglino, Mani sausages, and "gogges" (fresh pasta from Mani) will satisfy even the most demanding palate. On warm days of the year, the restaurant serves its wonderful local flavours on tables set on a wooden platform directly above the water, while wine-tasting evenings with excellent labels of Greek wines are also organised at regular intervals.
