Church of the Transfiguration of Sotiras (Savior)
At Oitilo, near the sea, next to a rock of reddish limestone, the temple of the Savior with a tall eight-sided dome and tall windows separated in the middle is located.
It is a cruciform, domed temple of the Hellenic type. Its western arcade was later added and is now ruined, with its few frescoes dating back to the 15th century.
Visitors can see the built-in, either on the inside or the outside, ancient marbles, as well as the Doric columns, which indicate the existence of an ancient temple at the same place. Unfortunately, inside and outside, the temple is whitewashed. Finally, the new building is of the 13th century.
