Saint Isidoros' Church
A short distance outside the village of Pyrgos (left of the road that leads to the caves of Diros), visitors can find the one-room, vaulted church of Ai-Sideros (Agios Isidoros).
The church is built with raw stones and connecting mortar, while there are no indications for the time of the inclusion of the monument. Traces of frescoes are preserved on the built-in iconostasis and the long sides of the temple. The relatively good quality frescoes of Ai-Sideros are one of the very few dated monuments of the first half of the 15th century. Also, behind the temple, there is a vaulted semi-underground cistern.
