A little higher than the settlement of Glezos, visitors can find the remarkable church of Agios Petros.
The church dates back to the beginning of the 11th century and belongs to the type of free cross with a dome. Inside the temple, fragments of frescoes, which belong to two different chronological periods, are preserved. The oldest ones date back to the middle of the 13th century.
The current iconostasis is built-in, and sculptures of the ancient iconostasis, made of marble, were incorporated.
