The church (also known as Trouloti or Tourloti) is located a short distance from the village of Koita.
It is a single-aisled, four-column church of the 12th century with frescoes of 1170 AD. It is considered one of the perfect churches in Laconia. A carved elbow inscription on a piece of marble reveals that it is dedicated to Saints Sergio and Bacchus.
It is the only church all over Greece that is dedicated to these saints.
