The small village of Erimos is built at an altitude of 125 meters and has only 17 permanent residents. Here, the church of Agia Barbara of Erimos stands out, which according to some scholars is considered "the most perfect church of Mani".
Near the village of Erimos, there is a mysterious place, known as the "Black Hole". It is a cavern ("Vathy Musi"), inside which there is a green forest. The dimensions of the "Black Hole" are approximately 50x30 meters. The visitor cannot approach the exact location, which only from above can be observed accurately. The forest was created inside the cave, as a result of the climatic conditions that favor humidity.
