Bringing together tradition and contemporary culture through a vibrant programme of culture, sport, and entertainment, the village of Kladas hosts the "Tradition: From Yesterday to Today" festival from 13th to 17th July 2026.
The festival celebrates the area's rich cultural heritage while creating opportunities for people of all ages to come together through sport, music, and community events.

Monday, 13th July
"Running Through Time" – 7 km Road Race
Kladas Primary School
The festival opens with the "Running Through Time" 7-kilometre road race. Participants are invited to arrive at 7:30 p.m., with the race beginning at 8:00 p.m. The event combines athletic participation with a journey through the history and traditions of the local community.
Wednesday, 15th July
"The Village Festivals of the Past... As We Remember Them"
Courtyard of Saint Demetrios Parish Church, Kladas
9:00 p.m.
Visitors are invited to experience a revival of the traditional Greek village festival (panigyri). The evening will feature a presentation on local customs, live traditional music, and folk dancing, recreating the atmosphere and cherished memories of community celebrations from earlier generations.
Friday, 17th July
Kladas Fest
Kladas Primary School
9:30 p.m.
The festival concludes with Kladas Fest, a lively outdoor music event featuring performances by:
- Bronza Banda
- Thanos Milas & The Crew
- Chentoma
With an exciting programme of live music and performances, the festival promises a memorable finale to this celebration of local culture.
"Tradition: From Yesterday to Today" aims to build a bridge between the memories of the past and the creativity of the present, celebrating the cultural identity of Kladas while inviting residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy several days filled with tradition, music, sport, and community spirit.
