The picturesque village of Neos (New) Mystras is opposite the castle city of Mystras, at the foot of the hill.
In 1825, Mystras was looted by Ibrahim's Egyptians; thus, the current village was gradually founded.
Visitors here have the chance to travel back in time by wandering the traditional streets with the stone gates and the stone mansions.
