Palaiologeia is the most significant festive event of Mystras and takes place every year during May.
Religious, sporting and cultural events occur within the archaeological site, thereby honouring the last Byzantine emperor Constantine Palaiologos. Usually, the events are completed with Byzantine music nights and theatrical games, an unforgettable experience for all visitors.
