With great honour and emotion, we would like to invite you to the screening of the award-winning documentary NO OTHER LAND / Greek title "No Other Land" on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, at 7 p.m., at the amphitheatre of the University of the Peloponnese in Sparta.
The documentary is not directly related to the recent dramatic developments in the Middle East but instead deals with the conditions prevailing in the Occupied Palestinian Territories of the West Bank and what Palestinians face daily. A young Palestinian and a young Israeli journalist play the leading roles, with the latter supporting the former in his efforts to respect his family's and people's rights.
The film was widely accepted and awarded the Oscar for Best Documentary this year, among other things. After the screening of the 95-minute film, a discussion with the audience will follow.
Please note: This event will not take place at the Sparta komvos venue but at the amphitheatre of the University of the Peloponnese, on Efstathiou & Stamatiki Valioti Avenue and Plataion, in Sparta.
