From June 20th to July 2nd, an event dedicated to the famous historical instrument makers, Anastasios and Epaminondas Stathopoulos- early 20th century, who came from Magoula Sparta, will be held at the “Sparta Spiritual Centre”.
A Masterclass in Instrument Making,
An Exhibition of musical instruments
and a Music event will be included.
A masterclass on instrument making by Lorenzo Lippi, the Italian instrument maker, will take place, addressed to those with experience in making musical instruments.
The musical instrument exhibition features the Stathopoulos family's historical instruments and will be open to the public throughout the event.
The musical event will be a mandolin-guitar duet concert by the Athenian Mandolinata “Nikolaos Landas”, performed by George Goumenakis and Michalis Sidiropoulos.
