Scientific conference on the role of Panagiotis Krevvatas

Following a joint initiative by historians Yiannis Tsoulogiannis and Nikos Karmoiris, a scientific conference on the role and contribution of Panagiotis Krevvatas -one of the most overlooked fighters- in the Greek Revolution, is being organised by the Historical Research Agency "Sparta 2034", on the occasion of the National Anniversary of March 25th.
Panagiotis Krevvatas was one of the leading personalities of the pre-revolutionary and early revolutionary periods. He was a member of the Friends' Society, one of the leaders of Mystras, a Member of the 1st Parliament, and a leader of the Revolution of 1821. He played an important role in the outcome of the Struggle on a diplomatic, economic, political, and military level.
The conference will occur in Sparta on March 30th, 2024, and will include important scientists and scientific bodies.
