Maria Efthymiou-Main points of Hellenic History

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation welcomes Maria Efthymiou, distinguished historian and professor emeritus of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, to the Museums of its Network for a series of lectures aimed at highlighting key points in the History of Hellenism.
With her unique narrative style, Ms. Efthymiou will unravel key points in Greek History, illuminating sections and phenomena that shaped the course of Hellenism from the Mycenaean years to the present day. Each lecture will last four hours. The beginning will be in Soufli and the Silk Museum, on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025. Afterwards, Ms. Efthymiou will travel to other areas where Museums of the Cultural Foundation operate.
