"Ah, Love"-Musical Narrative Performance

The Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation presents the performance “Ah, Love,” for teenagers and adults, on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at 19:00, at the Museum of Olives and Greek Olive Oil in Sparta.
Storyteller Virginia Kokkinou and musician Giannis Anthopoulos create a vibrant weaving of tales and music about love’s wounds, sometimes mischievous, sometimes sorrowful. Their journey moves from the depths of the East to the Italy of Boccaccio and as far as distant Peru, intricately interlacing musical traditions from Greece, Cyprus, and Southern Italy.
Witches, princesses, and nuns, magicians, knights, and villagers, all so different, yet in the face of love’s fury they appear alike. They grow beyond themselves, bow to its spell, and risk everything, whether to win or to lose it all.
