Starting with improvisation and the search for our expressive tools, we discover our body and our senses and use them as tools of expression on the theatrical stage. This workshop's main goal is to highlight the power of theatre, reveal each person's most powerful expressive means, and transform the human experience of himself and the world around him.
The workshop is aimed at adults with or without previous experience in the theatre field. Come and meet us!
"Stage" is a theatre workshop that began in the spring of 2019 in Sparta. It is a place that aims to highlight the expressive means of those who attend it through the theatrical practices of expression and improvisation. In 2021, it presented in Laconia the theatrical performance "Simultaneously", an adaptation of the play "The Numbered" by Elias Canetti, in 2022 the theatrical performance "Simply Pinter", a collection of four one-act plays by Harold Pinter and "Blood Wedding" by Federico Garcia Lorca in 2025.
The workshop will operate every Wednesday from 21:00 to 23:00
at Sparta Stage - 53, Kleomvrotou street.

Workshop facilitator: Chrysanthi Kotsafti
Chrysanthi Kotsafti is an actress and journalist. He has worked in newspapers and television channels in Athens, while studying theatre at the Higher Drama School of Iasmos. She has taken part in theatrical performances and has collaborated with theatrical groups. She is a founding member of the Theatre of the Oppressed of Sparta (Βol). She has been theatrically active in Sparta, maintains the adult theatre workshop Skini, teaches theatre to children, and conducts work and speech therapy groups.
