Sparta Museum-World Poetry Day

Spread the word

The Municipality of Sparta and the Public Central Library of Sparta join forces for a special event, dedicated to World Poetry Day (March 21st).
On Sunday, March 30th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the lush garden of the Archaeological Museum of Sparta will be filled with words, emotions and images, as beloved poets, both established and emerging, will give voice to their verses. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy an evening of lyricism and inspiration, where poetry will become a bridge that connects us with art, thought and our inner world.
An invitation to all poetry lovers
The organisers emphasise that poetry has the power to travel, move and unite us. “Come and share this magical experience, discover new poetic voices and immerse yourself in the music of words!”
Participation is free for all Municipality of Sparta citizens who love poetry. Those who wish to participate in poetry readings can register until Monday, March 24th, at 24:00.
