A few words about the play.
Shortly before Theseus's wedding, two young couples hide in the forest one summer night, where a group of craftsmen is wandering, preparing a theatrical performance for the King's wedding.
There, they will meet with elves, and strange things begin to happen. Transformations, magic, passions and twists compose a unique setting where love dominates as a miracle, magic and a dream.
Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," written in 1595, is a festive comedy, a romantic melodrama that is serious without ever being serious. It is a Spartan comedy with a dark and violent background, as the dream is entangled with reality, fantasy with nightmare, people with the elements of nature and pure love with erotic madness.
