"Cultural Summer" Festival
The "Cultural Summer" festival has been held since 1988 in the "Sainopouleio Amphitheatre", with a capacity of 1500 spectators, in a green grove near the village of Magoula. In fact, the amphitheatre has been described as the most beautiful newly built theatre in Greece.
Every summer, the festival hosts a series of cultural events, such as theatre performances, concerts, and events for younger and older audiences. To reach the amphitheatre, one must cross "The Poets’ Road", the so-named road where the marble busts of significant ancient and contemporary Greek poets have been put along.
