Cafe-bistro SYMMETRON – Sparta Club is located on the ground floor of the neoclassical building of the City Hall in the central square of the city. It is a building of exceptional architectural and historical value, the work of architect G. Katsaros, dating back to 1910, designed on neoclassical architectural principles. The characteristic symmetrical structure, floor plan and appearance of the two-storey building as well as the centrobaric imposing position it occupies on the central square and, by extension, in the linear layout of the modern city, were the source of inspiration for the interior design and the creation of the identity of the new space.

The concepts of "Symmetry" and "Geometry" run through the entire proposal for the café-bistro interior, a fact that is also highlighted in its new name, SYMMETRON- LESCHI SPARTIS (Sparta Club). The idea for the new space, combining the use of the café-bistro with that of a multi-purpose room for various events and exhibitions, was the creators’ desire, which was based on their belief that such a central, historic passage of the city must evolve a variety of uses and attract different age groups.

Symmetron's design proposes five "rooms", composing sub-modules with graded possibilities for use and hosting leisure activities, culture and social meetings. The central "room" - where it should be noted that according to the original plans of G. Katsaros, it was the entrance for the entire building - hosts the access to the space, and the primary use of the cafe, while the other four, anti-diametrically and on either side, are configured as, living room and bistro (south wing), library and dining room (north wing) respectively.

Its spaces consist of rooms with different colours and seats, but all of them, with a sophisticated vintage aesthetic that wins you over.

Its beautiful, neat space stands out at first glance, and from the very first minutes, you will feel the welcoming and excellent service. It is no coincidence that it has managed to be loved and stand out, offering a new taste experience but also the philosophy of affordable luxury at all levels.

Every day from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., you can try the delicious suggestions of the brunch menu. Croque Madame with pork shoulder, fluffy gruyere béchamel and fried egg, traditional cayenne, potatoes with eggs and chives and omelettes of various kinds and combinations are some of the savoury proposals in the catalogue where fresh ingredients are the main focus and their combination in highly satisfying and delicious recipes.

The pancakes category has to offer you memorable thrills - you will definitely try the "Κourabies-like" with chocolate praline, κοurabies and powdered sugar or the French Toast bun with eggnog, praline, forest fruits and caramelised almonds - but, if you want something more "Greek", choose to accompany your coffee with a Thessaloniki bun (with smoked salmon, cream cheese, black pepper, lime and avocado) or the traditional fried bread stuffed with "goodies".

Of course, the tasty suggestions take the place they deserve until the evening, creating moments for a light lunch or a special dinner.
