The 11th Magoula River Festival is coming
With great honour and enthusiasm, we invite you to the 11th Festival of Cultural and Social Events, the Magoula River Festival, which this year will take place from July 4th to 25th in the enchanting riverside setting, in the courtyard of the Byzantine chapel of Panagia in Magoula.
Every year, our goal is to evolve, enrich our programme and offer quality moments of entertainment. This year's event hosts important artists and offers residents and visitors of the area unique experiences.
A special feature of the programme is the music and dance performance with Vangelis and Stella Konitopoulou, a musical journey to the Aegean, accompanied by traditional dance groups from the region, honouring the rich Greek tradition.
The festival is co-organised by the Peloponnese Region and the Municipality of Sparta, and is decisively supported by our valued sponsors.

Friday, July 4th: The beginning of the festival with a frantic River Party and music by a D.J.
Sunday, July 6th:
▪ Morning Memorial of the Benefactors
In the evening, a Traditional Festival will take place with lots of dancing and singing.
Monday, July 7th: Voluntary Blood Donation – Give Life!
Wednesday, July 16th: Concert by Vangelis & Stella Konitopoulou – Tribute to the Aegean with the participation of local bands
Wednesday, July 23rd: Bike race for young and older participants & shadow theatre – Karagiozis
Friday, July 25th: Finale with an evening dedicated to youth – Back to the River Party with D.J.
