The "Sparta Photography Club" was founded in 2001 by a group of people with the common goal their love for photography. The Club aims to cultivate the photographic vision of its members, as well as its essential contribution to the cultural events of the place.
The "Sparta Photography Club" organises theoretical and practical photography courses, educational seminars and seminars-speeches by renowned Greek photographers, while every year, its members hold a photography exhibition. It has participated in more than forty photography exhibitions, and in 2021 (as part of the celebration of its 20th anniversary), the First Panhellenic Photography Competition took place, with the theme: "This great outdoors".
